Some people think he's already lifted 500 kg in training. That way he can be pretty sure he'll lift it live.I'm watching it. He's looking good so far. Hall's record will be broken.

Eddie held 500 kg for several seconds which really screwed him up. I think Eddie could have lifted 510-520 kg in 2016.
He did it! I still think Eddie's went up more convincing. He struggled a bit at the top!
True. No question Thor is a freak. 6'-9" (6'-8.5" really) and 450 lbs. Eddie was 6'-3" (6'-2" really) and 440 lbs. Thor did look a little red in the face in the interview. But that's to be expected. 501 kg is a huge weight. He weights 205 kg so that's 706 kg or 1556.4 lbs that his feet and skeleton has to support in the lift!Yeah, but Eddie almost died. Thor casually strolled away.
They have been talking about this for a while. Eddie grew up in a rough area and had to fight often so he won't be a pushover!Wait wait
did he just call Eddie out to a boxing match !?!?!?

Awesome stuff! That is a lot of weight. I'm glad he didn't injure himself.
Agree with comments about the Eddie lift versus Thor lift. Thor made it look easy, whilst poor Eddie honestly looked like he had a stroke or something.
