Just raced this weekend with 03 cobra.
Have the street pulley with the blowzilla with 535 HP
Poly bushings, hard launch kit and drag radials.
Heated them up good and launched at 3000, it bogged horribly and turned a 2.0 sixty foot time.
Could I potentially launch at higher than 5000?
Still turned a 12.2 at 120, but I also missed 3rd gear.

from a dead stop launch it in 6th gear while spraying a 150 shot with 87 octane.

If your car bogs off the line keep rasing rpms untill it stops to bog. Do this unitll the tire does not hook either. Then go back down a few hunder rpm and you should be good. With an ET street tire on my mustang, I have left the line at 6000, and I have only 277 rwhp. But the car hooks right up. If your going to drag race you need suspenion and a good tire & a strong rear, HP & torque should be a given. Good luck you should see mid to low 11s or even high 10s if you get it right.
