777 Mustang (Rumor)

Has anyone else heard anything about a so called "777 Mustang"? I got word from someone inside Ford that Ford will be releasing a 700hp Mustang called the 777. Or it's at least in the discussion phase right now. It wouldn't happen for a couple of years, perhaps it will come out with the next gen mustang.

My source is somewhat reliable, but not always the best on details, so I could of course be wrong.

But as for now they are pricing me out of buying a high performance Mustang.
If I wanted are car priced like a Vette or Viper , I would buy a Vette or Viper before I buy a Mustang again.

I hear ya, but what will the new Viper and ZO7 cost?
700 factory hp is cool, but I'll bet its 2x the cost of doing it with a base model. I guess the nice thing is parts used by the factory to make 700 could be used on a base GT500, for example.
BTW, any updates or mods on the GT500 George? See ya next weekend.

My bet is that it is a future SVT product......SVT's offices are at 777 Republic Drive in Allen Park.....right behind the Lion's training center off Rotunda
