-8 feed with twin Walbro 465 pumps?

Would a -8 AN feed be a restriction on these pumps? My goal is around 700 rwhp through a turbo so shouldn't be as fuel hungry as a blower car. I know I will have enough fuel with the -8, I just don't want to strain the pumps if it would be a restriction.

I have about a foot of -8 to a Y then two -6 lines to the rails.
I already had the two -6 lines in place with a modified stock hat.
733/682 on e85 with 400s.

That's my plan. -8 to a Y and -6 to each rail. Then -6 out each rail to my reg, then a single 8 back to the tank.

I just wasn't sure if 2 of these pumps running at full tilt would get overly hot trying to pump through the -8. I originally bought 400's but with all the failures occuring lately, I got scared and bought 465's.

I currently have a #8 supply with 1 Walbro 465. And I'm switching to this in a few weeks; 11104 - Eliminator Fuel Pump. I have a 98 cobra, and the way my tank is set up from the factory I'm having delivery problems when I reach half, or below half a tank. I am also running e85. So this set up will take care of my delivery issues. Power, 602RWHP, 550 torque

I forgot to mention my return is a -6
If I had know all the issues with the 400s I would have bought the 465s.
One of my 400s already failed in e85.

my setup is -8 to the Y, then -8 to the rails/regulator, and -6 returned with (2) 255's for now <<installing (2) 405's soon>> and getting ready for E85.
considering a sumped tank as well...

DO NOT use the 405s if you are going E85!!

my understanding is the 340's are garbage but the walbro 405's will work just fine...

That was how they were originally represented by Walbro/TI.
If you call the tech folks at Walbro/TI they will tell you if you use them in E85 it is not a matter of if but when they will fail and they will fail quickly.
There is NO warranty on the 405s if used in e85.
Get the 465s. They are specifying those to be used in 85.
I already had one of my 405s fail.
Luckily it was on the dyno and we caught it before is caused damage.

I think there is also some confusion as to what the pumps are called.
I have hear 400s or 405s and 450s or 465s.

The part # you want is F90000267

not F90000262

The correct pumps have sealed electrical connections.

Not to hijack the thread, but my 405's failed too. Both of them took a dump after being in e85 for roughly 6 months or so.

I had bought 405's also. About half way through my build, Justin recommend I switch to the 465's. Glad I did after hearing of 4 different failures of 405's in one week.

Go with the 465's on E85 and have peace of mind.

I'm glad I saw this post about 405's failing! I thought the 405's were fine in e85, just not recommended. I read a document on Fore Innovations website saying that running e85 through 405's would only shorten their life by 15%. I'll "pony" up the extra dough for the 465/450's.

Yeah, I read that too when the 465's were launched. However, there are more and more people reporting failures in e85 after short periods of time. Walbro really screwed a lot of people on those 405's.

my understanding is its the 1st gen of 405's that were bad so Walbro has since addressed the issue. have a buddy running 405's over 1 1/2 years on e85 with ZERO issues.
apparantly the problem had to do with the fuel getting too hot. Fore now has a fuel stage controller that has corrected the issue and the 405's are holding up fine....
