before I get blasted for something thats been covered, i searched but didnt find anything. found stuff on google for ls1's etc... all of them said it was fine.. My question is this: Can I run an 8 rib overdrive crank pulley on a 6 rib setup? Do you think the belt will stay in place? i'd hate to buy a 6 rib OD and have to buy a new one when (if ever) I get my 8 rib setup.. anyone doing this already? thanks. -dylan :beer:

I've been running an 8 rib crank pulley with 6 rib accessory pullies for over a year. It works just fine.
