I been looking into getting a 8 rib setup for my 2.9 Whipple. I've seen the vmp 8 rib kit. Was checking to see if anyone has ran this setup without any problems. Also seen the kenne bell 8 rib kit and was wondering if that would work with Whipple.

Why not a 10 rib?
The cost is like double once it's all said and done.
Custom made 8 rib pulley for the Whipple would probably work...I got the vmp 8 rib & was wondering the same thing about a 4.0 Whipple.
Any belt slippage and filament issue with vmp 8 rib
I don't actually have it on the car yet. In the middle of a engine build. I know someone that runs it. He had belt slip issues with the 6 rib but has not had any with the 8 rib. I know Justin's ( vmp ) wife runs the 8 rib with 15% lower & 63mm upper with no problems. I believe she has the fastest coyote tvs car right now with 9.15 in the 1/4.
