Competition just got a lot harder for the new Ford GT

A 900 HP supercharger and a 733 N/A kit will be available for the viper.

Ford better throw way more than 600ish HP on this new little V6 ford GT (or better be 2500lbs) if they want to compete imo.
A lighter ford gt will not overcome a 300HP difference imo. The viper is also a very lightweight car.

The company that is behind the supercharger kit, Arrow Engines, works directly with Chrysler to build and develop the engines that are found in the Viper. There is a strong possibility that it might be available later in the Gen V's lifespan. A mule is already out there.
