Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me figure out what I have wrong with my 93 ranger. It is a 3.0l 5 speed manual 4x4. The trans has had a decent leak at the top near the shifter since I bought, it I fill it up regularly. Anyways the problem I am having is that whenever the Vehicle is in Neutral and the shifter is near 1st or 2nd there is a pretty bad grinding noise, also momentarily while shifting into those same gears, it shifts and drives fine, however it is a pretty bad grinding noise and doesnt seem right. Any suggestions what is going on with it?
