94-95 5.0 longtube header ?'s

Don't really feel like spending 1000+ on a custom fabbed set of headers....

Anyone have any experience with longtubes on a 5.0 based sn95 with t56 tranny?

Im wondering if I can use longtubes made for a fox body on my car?


Im looking for 550-600 at the wheels with the novi 2000/dart 331 combo... Would it be worth it to run a 3 inch x-pipe to a 3 inch muffler setup or should I just stick to 2.5 all the way back?

The only issue i had was when i went to bolt my H pipe back up, it needed to be modified cause it wouldn't clear the bell housing on the T-56. I had a matching BBK off road H pipe as well. If i remember correctly i had to have it lengthened and bent like 2* to get it to clear. Other than that no issues at all and the tranny will be able to drop out with he long tubes on or off so changing the clutch isnt a bitch. I have BBK Longtubes, but if you look up on summit it will give a part number since there is only like one or two options for 94-95. Ceramic coated too.
