Posting for a fellow Cobra owner. Sometimes while driving the car will just cut off, then start running again (off and on again quickly like you were flipping a switch). Today he was driving and it quit, and would not restart until it cooled off. Going of the advise off a local shop they replaced a sensor CCRM? or something like that.... anyhow the problem persists. Any insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

TFI module is a likely culprit.
Cam or crank sensor?...assuming these engines have one and/or the other!
Could be either the ignition module (sits under the MAF bolted to the fender) or the distributor. Mine did the very same thing, and it turned out to be the distributor. NAPA replacement distributors are cheap and work just fine.
