The Gt with the bolt ons was, at best, making around 250rwhp. You pulled on him simply because you are making about 30 more rwhp. I had a 01 GT, with bolt ons. Definitely not a world beater, but I did surprise a few LT1 Slomaros.

Bet you didn't surprise any '01 "Slomaros" though, did ya?

Times in sig is what my 02 GT 2v auto ran with 252 rwhp and 291 rwtq, D/A was around -400 but it was consistent 12.60's all day..

More power to you, I guess. I had a '98 Z28 with 2.73 gears and an automatic transmission that ran 8.8 @ 84mph. I've never seen a stock Mustang do that.

I don't think you understand what stock means.

This place cracks me up sometimes!

You can defend yourself and the almighty 2V all you want, but the numbers don't lie. All things equal, nine times out of 10, the LS1 is gonna whoop the 2V stock for stock and mod for mod. I really can't believe we're rehashing this; it's 2014!

I found some of my old time slips BTW. I'll let you in on a little secret... With 3.23 gears, all the free mods (read: NOT bolt-ons) and MT ET Streets, I ran a 8.6 @ 86 in 2,800ft DA.

I know EXACTLY what it means!!!! How many LS guy's do you know that claim their cars are stock as well, I know, you don't have to say it, EVERY damn one one of them... The way my car left the dealer brand new with less then 2000 miles it ran a 9.05@79 and that was in much warmer weather than the 8.93 with the canned tune...

I'll have to verify the 2,800ft DA, but I'm certain it was in the high 2,700 range. I'll check my slip when I get home and use one of those sites that tracks track DA and you can just plug in the date and time you ran.

But I promise it wasn't negative or close to it. It was a warm night, high 70s/low 80s and humid AF!
