Got to run a grey G35 coupe from a light last night in my '94. I could tell he wanted some because his girl in the passenger seat was looking over at me and I could see his car rolling a little because he was off the brake and revving it a little.
I eased into it to keep from spinning the crappy street tires and matted it once it got rolling. Pulled almost a car by the top of 1st and kept slowly pulling. Had maybe 3-4 on him by the top of 3rd gear (3.73s).
I wonder what those things usually trap? I half expected to lose because I just have all the bolt-ons and gears (stock heads and cam and crappy stock tune). Mine usually runs just about even with '99-04 GTs that have 4.10s and bolt-ons. It has pretty good torque but no top end and drops off after 5k.
