I have someone with a 94 gt that wants to trade for my IRS. The gt rear would include moser axles, trac loc, gears of my choice and a bassani catback to finish the swap.
I know the axle would be 3/4" shorter on each side but I could run spacers, or I'm thinking seriously about going with a drag setup so couldn't I get my back wheels with 3/4" less backspacing? My IRS is stock except for MM IRS bushings and bassani catback. This seems like a good opportunity to take some weight off the car and eliminate future breakage problems but wanted some opinions on going with a 94gt solid rather than a 99 or later. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated :beer:
