Does anyone know if the fuel pressure in the fuel line is 39.5psi or 55.1 psi.

I've found two regulators for 94/95 mustangs and cobras.

- one is F4TZ-9C968-A at 55.1 psi
- other F4SZ-9C968-A at 39.5 psi

Just wondering if anyone ever hooked up a pressure gauge to confirm fuel line pressure.

Should be about 40 so the 39.5 would be correct.

You can install a 94/95 adjustable regulator for a 5.0 if you want.

Tom,

Thank you for the reply.

I am going to install an adjustable regulator. Is there a gauge or something to hook up to determine what pressure the regulator was adjusted to?

I figure I'm going to be making 350 (+/-15hp) once I get it put together. So fuel supply may or may not be an issue.

I've also read the 94/95/95R cobras came with 26#/hour injectors (through accel) and not 24#/hr as is on the spec sheets ...?

Ron.

Every piece of paper I have seen states 24#.

Most all adjustable regulators have a port to hook up a fuel gauge. I have an electronic (which I hate) that is in the dash on the racer. I am going to convert to mechanical one of these days.

Or, you can get a gauge that goes on your fuel rail and set it. That is the easiest and cheapest. Once adjusted, you remove the gauge.
