95r Gt40 lower intake

Since I'm adding the GT40x heads to the car and a comp cam 270 (35-351-8 with 1.7rr); I've been doing a little more research.

Appears the GT40 lower intakes (from information I can find on 5.0l GT40 lowers) indicates that the ports on the lower intake flow somewhere between 210 and 230cfm from the factory.

Has anyone found the GT40 lower to be restrictive with their head and cam modifications (the typical indicator is the Horsepower drops off quickly above 5200/5300 rpm)?

The 351 lower flows alittle more stock 302GT40[mine anyway] flowed 25x average unported.ported it flow 340-50 average. with the lower and upper bolted together and ported they flowed 320.Heads ported[victor jr] flow intake 310 and exhaust 220.So the restriction for me is the head NOT the intake.hope that helps.Stan
