Is there any difference between 96 and 98 cobra instrument clusters? My odometer and trip stopped working and i can get a 98 cluster, just wondering if there any differences between the two of them.

The odometer and trip meter stopped working in mine also. It was two little gears that had stripped. I bought them at late model restoration and it wasn't hard to do at all. The gears were about $40 though.
