97 cobra having tranny issues...

my cobra is having tranny issues...when i first start her up and rev it up a bit i get a delayed reaction, almost like it wants to shut off and then a second or two after i have stepped on the gas it will rev like normal but delayed. after a few revs it is back to normal...

once it is gear from a stop and at the beginning of each gear it is sluggish...the rpms will go up and then a second or two later the rear wheels will catch up.

any suggestions/tips that don't involve a new tranny??

As far as just idleing, Id clean your IAC, Maf, air filter, and throttle body.

As far as while in gear sounds like your clutch is slipping. About time to buy a new one.

got a ram clutch installed and she is running like new...
