98 cobra using 99 built 2v bottom end

As the title says I would like to kno if I can use my built bottom end out of my 99 gt and swap out the teksid for the time being until I build the teksid? Teksid is @ 125k and running 10psi :\ let me kno if I can use the 99 bottom in the 98 cobra swapping over the 98 cobra heads components. Thanks!

If I remember right (this is from a long time ago when I ran a teksid bottom end with 99 PI 2v heads in my old 96 GT), there was a coolant passage that was different between the two on the drivers side. I think I had to drill it in the block to match the heads. So you might have this hole in the block that does nothing, but the head gasket will seal it. I think otherwise it was straight up, so I can't think of any issues doing it the way that you will.
