98 cobra vs 94 LT1 Camaro

Okay, so hear is the deal guys. In 3 hours I'm gonna race my friends 98 cobra and I'm getting alittle worried lol so I thought I'd get your opinions. He is manual and I'm auto a4, but I have a trans pak shift kit. His cars also only 3,375 lb and My car is 3600 lb plus probably 50 lb from sound proofing dynomat. We are doing a dig and a 40 roll. Idk haha what's ya'lls thoughts

94 Z28 Camaro Mods (Stock 275hp):

• 96 LT1 camaro engine (10 more hp then 94)
• Ported throttle body (58mm)

• Straight pipe Borla exhaust (no cats)
• K&N Cold air intake
• CRS Performance electric water pump
• All MSD ignition

• rear alloy axle

I imagine with an 11 ft wide rear tire you won't have any issues hooking up.

You'd think I'd have no problem hooking but I do lol From digs I spin all the way through second. I get sideways from first to second. And I scratch second to third :cryying:

Anyone know any solution to this? lol maybe try to get the shift kit tuned down a little

What's that matter? Races between 10 second cars aren't the only races that happen.

Well guys...he won.

By a half a car From the 40 and from the dig he caught in first, I spun half way through 2nd until I caught and he got me by about a car
