Now, when i was looking for a car in January of this year and those crappy dealers in new jersey were staying at 22,000 firm for a droptop 97 SVT, i could have bought what i wanted for 18,000 or maybe a little less. Thats just the price SVT dealers pay when they are arrogant about their pricing. I couldnt justify 22-24k for a convertible in the winter months over my 99 Grand Prix GTP coupe that was loaded, granted the svt conv was more money but not 7-9k and a year or two older. This makes me mad.. I could have been part of the SVT group too:cuss:

That's what the dealers wanted for one near me too. I ended up getting a white 96 convertible with 13,000 miles on it for 19k...

oh and it had a vortech s-trim and cobra R rims too...

maybe I just got a great deal, I dunno
