98 Mustang Cobra Black on Black on Black

Hate to do this but my buddy is selling his Evo VIII and I want it.

98 Cobra with fresh black metallic paint. Black leather, 115k miles and climbing (Car is daily driven)
Paint is about 3 months old. The car isn't cosmetically perfect, but it's close. I get loads of compliments at car meets, because it isn't often you see an SN95 this clean.

There are some mods..

Ram II clutch, aluminum flywheel, Mac catback, offroad h pipe, bbk throttlebody, bbk cai, bbk ud pulley, bbk frame connectors, eaton posi, svo diff cover, superior axles, 3.73 rear end gears, adjustable upper rear control arms, h&r supersport springs, tokico struts, 17x10.5 Fr500 replica wheels out back. 17x9 up front. 315/35 & 255/40 Nitto NT01 tires only one season old. Saleen s281 wing. Tinted tails and headlights.

There are some minor issues with the car.

-The engine bay is still red. My asking price reflects me taking care of that before the sale of the car. I have the paint to do it and I paint cars for a living. I was planning on taking care of it this winter while I put a tubular k member and turbo setup in the car. :rolling:

-The front passenger side lower ball joint needs changing and because of that the car sometimes squeaks over bumps. The asking price also reflects that I take care of this. (That will probably be taken care of this weekend because the squeak annoys the hell out of me quite honestly)

I'm asking $8k for the car.
I am negotiable on the price if whomever purchases the car wants to take care of the ball joint, and/or engine bay paint him or herself.

are you selling to buy Zach's Evo? haha. kind of a long shot, but i know hes selling his Evo, and it was once on the Dyno at Dynotech.

I was actually selling to buy my friend Gary's Evo. He goes to Dynotech often, you may know of him.

It looks as if I may be able to get the Evo and also keep the Cobra so there's a good possibility that I end up just keeping the Mustang. I'll still entertain offers though.

Evo situation fell through but this is still for sale...maybe.

Also the car doesn't need a ball joint, it is actually the steering rack bushings that are shot and causing the squeaking. $15 for replacement poly bushings.
