Wife says the car has to go. Shoot me a reasonable offer. Motivated seller
PRICE DROP! 11.5K OBO, down from 13k!
Looking to get rid of one of my Cobras. Located in Southeast Michigan. I recently bought it from the original owner who DDed it for 10 years, so the car never sat.
1999 Cobra (#26xx, I have the original certificate)
original cobra floormats in very good condition
black exterior, black interior
117k miles and counting
Eaton swap, stock pulley (8psi), put down 456/402 on a Mustang Dyno
Stock 03/04 injectors
Stock 03/04 maf
Stock 03/04 twin fuel pump setup (99 tank)
SLP Longtubes
SLP Noncatted Xpipe
SLP LM2 Catback
01+ black housing headlights
slotted rotors
1 coil cut on stock springs (COMFORTABLE!)
The car has a few imperfections here and there.
Silver dollar sized paint bubble on the roof just behind the windshield molding. I'm assuming the windshield was replaced, the installer knicked the paint and water got underneath the molding.
The bumpers could use a repaint. At 117k miles, most of it freeway, the bug residue and whatnot has scarred the paint up pretty good, along a couple random parking lot scrapes (previous owner). The front of the hood has the usual blemishes from 100k of freeway driving, rock chips.
Inch long tear in the outer bolster on the driver seat. Its barely noticeable. I didn't catch it until after I bought it, I'm just as honest as I can possibly be.
Engine runs great, trans is great, suspension is great.
These pics are before the 1 coil cut and eaton, I'll grab better pics as soon as I can. The one in question is the winged car, not in the garage.
The car was clay barred and hit with rubbing compound and polishing compound very recently but it'll get hit again if I get the paint issues taken care of.
The car is super strong. A procharged c5 made ~450 on the same dyno and ran mid to high 10s on slicks.
Priced to sell at 13,000 OBO. Let me know if there's any interest!
