Found a 99 white cobra convertible on craigslist. It is bone-stock and has 49k miles and looks to be in amazing shape being garage kept for the last 9 years this 2nd owner has had it. Hes asking $10,000 and looking for a quick sale since hes trying to avoid trading it in. Im guessing they are probably going to give him somewhere around $8500 for it??? What should I offer/pay? Thanks

For reference, 5 years ago, I paid 10k for my Cobra that had 40k and had O/R X-pipe, Flowmaster catback and JLT CAI. It was a 9/10 on the paint and interior. Vert's don't count for any extra in my book, so I wouldn't offer anymore than 8k in your situation.

Unfortunately, our cars, despite how rare they are, have not held their value well.

$10K sounds ok for one that's been babied and to know her history.
Offer him $9K.
You're probably already in love anyway;-)
