For sale is a 99 GT, 03 Cobra clone. This was a long time project I had been working on for a couple of years now, and i've come to the point that the car has to go. The car started out as a Florida car, (no rust) a red V6, and has undergone a V8 GT swap, most of a Cobra interior, Cobra brakes, and GM atomic orange paint. The engine has about 3k on it at this point, and runs strong.
On the plus side the car has a new short block with stage 2 rods and Mahle pistons, new timing chains, guides, and water pump. It has an 8.8 with 3.73's in it.
On the negitive side Im pretty sure it has a warped, or cracked head, air is getting into the cooling system at some point, and the only thing transfered from the old engine were the heads, so I'm pretty sure they are the culprit. It will also need tires, a driverside air bag, and a radio. This car will run all day, and run strong for a GT, at this point though it needs its cooling system topped off every week or so. If you feel like putting some new heads on, this car would be a good foundation for a fun, reliable ride. 8k, obo.
Pics have chrome FR500's in them, but the car comes with black chrome FR500's
