Ok so I'm finally looking to upgrade the 18's on my L and I know about the limited amount of prefabricated rims available for our L's. A good aftermarket wheel place near my house can have a large variety of rims drilled to fit my '99 L for a decent price. It's currently lowered about 2 inches all around.

Question, has anyone had any rubbing problems with 22x9.5 on a lowered L? I haven't seen enough L's with 20's to have my mind made up yet to settle for 20's as I can have 22's for just a fraction more.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Jason

What lowering kit did you do on the 99? I'm in the same situation. I can't decide what to go with but I'm leaning towards 22's.

24's would look goofy as hell on a lightning, 22's are even pushing it if not done right i also seriously doubt they wouldnt rub even with stock suspension

I think that 20's look about perfect. I have them on mine (20x10). 22's look ok as well, but I thought that would be just a little too big. Speaking of big rims, there is a new F-150 with 30's on it rolling around here, looks rediculous.
