a bunch of studs sticking up from the floor of my trunk... what are those for?

So there's about 10-12 1.5"-long studs in my trunk, sticking up from the floor. half are on the driver side near the fenderwell, and the other half are on the passenger side near the fenderwell. What in the world are these supposed to hold down? Just seems to me that they are way too long. I bought the car used so it's hard to tell what was once there lol.

a Mod can close this thread. I found out that my car originally came with Mach 1000 stereo, so these studs are part of the mounting plates left behind.
