A/C is cutting in and out...what could be the culprit?

Ok. Here's the deal.

When I am running the A/C in my car it seems like it just switches itself between vent and a/c, if that makes sense.

When it is blowing cold, it is ICE cold and will numb your fingers, but then all of a sudden it will just stop blowing cold and just blow air.

It also seems to cut out when I am gassing on it too, like when I am passing someone on the highway.

Could this be something simple?

it is supposed to cut out when you stomp the loud pedal it has a vaccumn switch to give you full power when needed

Your AC could be low on freon causing the system pressure sensor to stop the system and then restart. Get it checked. It's probably a simple fix.

You're right Dano! But right now the 2-top is up on jack stands getting new Bilstein shocks, Brembo rotors, and Hawk HPS pads.
