Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Our 04 SVT Focus started making a hissing sound the other day, and when we investigated we found that the low pressure line from the a/c compresor had been cut by being in contact with the lower radiator support. Looks like it had been in contact with the support since it was built, and finally cut into the line. Anyone else had this problem?

I had that problem with a coolant hose and the throttle cable. Found my car in the parking lot 'marking its territory'!

Well, just had it repaired, $185! and they repositioned the A/C lines so they do not contact the radiator support anymore. Just letting you all know in case you want to check yours to make sure the lines are not rubbing. Our car is out of the bumper to bumper warranty, so I am going to check with Ford to see if I can be reimbursed for these repairs. The way the lines were positioned from the factory, in my opinion, caused the problem.
