A/C question

My A/C is making a clicking noise about 5 or 6 times(sounds like it's jumping a gear) best I could describe it.
It's done it before sometimes when you would switch from defroster to vents.
Now even when you start the car and turn it on it does it everytime (started today)

I'll probably bring it to my buddy that works at the dealership just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them.

A/C blows perfect, just the annoying clicking sound when you first turn it on.

Mine does it, too.

It's the actuator for the temperature blend door. It will probably eventually fail needing replacement.

That's exactly what it is. I had mine replaced under warranty when I bought my F150. Service guy knew what it was right off the bat.
