A few exhaust questions

I have a few questions pertaining exhaust. I know this isn't exactly Cobra related, but I was wondering if you could help out a fellow Fox body.

I recently received a VRS o/r x-pipe and a Mac cat-back with 2.5" chrome tips. I was wondering about a few things. I really need the air pump, so I wondering if I could get a place welded in to put the air tube in. It shouldn't be too bad should it? Do I also need some gaskets where the x-pipe meets the header? Or will the ball and socket seal just fine without them?

Finally, do you guys have any reccomendations or tips on how to make this job go easier? I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Should seal without any gaskets. Have at least one person helping you. That'll speed things up ten fold.

Keep those tailpipes clean and dry on the mac catback or they'll rust up REAL quick.

Got cat-back on today, took 3+ hours. Jackstands suck lol. Debating on trading o/r pipe for a catted pipe. Thx poopnut, and will keep the tips clean. A guy I know that has em are starting to rust on his. Again thanks.

Oh ya, I wonder why it wasn't much louder than my flows? Oh well.
