Ok so here's the deal. I just got back from serving over in the desert and missed this whole summer. Since I've been back I've got a 6# pulley thats been waiting to get put on.
I currently have a 2 way super chip on my truck for the mods I have now. I know that a re-tune has to be accomplished before I can race with the new pulley on.
I have an appointment scheduled for monday with the local dyno. He told me that he would be able to provide with me a tune while at the dyno. My question is, will I still need my chip? Should I leave it in my truck or just take it out after/before the dyno tune?
Also what a/f ratio should I aim for? I know that with a 6# detonation can be a result of an unsafe tune. I want to know what a good SAFE number would be.
Should I also update my plugs at this time? What style plug is recommended at at what gap? Thanks in advance.
