A GOOD 99 Cobra Launch Video

I leaned it out some from last week, and launched it on the limiter after seeing the surface was very very good, even though there wasn't much rubber down yet.

I need to check my barometer, but, if it is right, then for 24.9" Hg, 65 degrees, and 50% humidity, the density altitude was 6880 feet. Pretty lousy air.

I only made two passes, the first was an 11.88, didn't launch it hard enough, and the second was the video run at 11.83. I am happy. 1.48 60' is all it is going to do in this air.

The barometer was wrong. Air was more like 4000 feet. Still a good video, LOL. I love this car.

Well I have my engine out and am installing 0.020 over JE pistons, Eagle rods, nitrous cams and P/P heads. I am away from home on business, so I watch this video a lot. Engine was perfect after 30k miles, 40 nitrous runs out of over 300 total passes. I should be able to carry the tires most of 1st gear on a 150 shot when I get it back together in a few weeks.

Thanks, NastyWS6, I love that avatar of yours. I am gonna use up a lot of nitrous this year. I haven't intentionally made an all motor run since the first 11 second pass on the NX kit. On a 75 shot.
