Went to Atlanta and bought a set of mint mint mint 17x9 chrome Cobra rims with new Kumho 275/40/17s for $750. I hope the 275s will fit the front of my 97.
The seller is 71 years old, lives in a middle class neighborhood and has a shop full of 7 litre Galaxies. His 67 is an XL that he bought new.
I think he had 6 of them ranging from 63 to 67. All 427s, all 4 speeds, all period correct, all mint condition. He also had a 72 vert tucked away in the corner that looked like it is getting ready to go under the knife.
Stopped by the pull-a-part on the way home and grabbed some misc stuff I needed/wanted.
