Just thought I would show this ice luge I carved for New Years. Used it at a house party and it got a lot of use.

Thanks guy. Pretty much just did it for fun. Bought it at a place here in Minnesota (Shakopee) that Freezes the blocks for local ice carving and winter carnivals etc. It was $45 and I believe was the 300lb size.

Nothing in particular. I just looked up some shot luges and picked a pretty basic shape.... if you're referring to what it is used for: you pour a shot at the top and it flows down one of the sides of it into someones mouth. It's just fun to do and it cools the shot as it goes down.
hmmm...didn't know this. I'm not too much of a drinker but it almost reminded me of the the movie "Alien"
hell yeah! We used to rock those a couple times per year at our fraternity parties. usually layed the block down though so that it was more like a ramp. 2 different routes down (one for you and your date). good times.

You can. They do this all over the world. That block of ice will stay in its form for many (4-8) hours if it's not in direct sunlight.
