Im looking at buying a friends 2001 lightning.
He basically rebuilt the entire truck, lost interest and now wants to sell
MMR 900 Block
stage 2 heads and cams
whipple 2.3
punisher trans with vb and 2400 stall
basically a lot of parts on the car and im getting a pretty damn good deal on it.
Im really looking for something i can semi daily drive... it has about 600whp now but if i'd bring it back down to a more reasonable level, would this car sit in traffic and commute on the highway (60 miles round trip each day) with reasonable reliability?
I daily drive a jeep wrangler now so gas mileage doesnt matter too much... im more worried about blowing this thing up and having to rebuild a car i only "plan" on keeping for about a year...
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
