ABS Light

so the abs light on the car came on a few days ago...and now the brake system is not working properly. the car brakes..but when pushed hard the brakes lock up. NO ABS...

what could the reason be?

I have checked the brake lines and brake fluid..I also unplugged the batt. to reset the computer. but no luck

any ideas?

Check the ground on the passenger side front in the engine compartment.

i would chck the sensors by the front tires. my light came on when the sensor fried by rubbing against the tires when i turned.

I had the same problem and it sounds like your sensor needs to be replaced.
