Added Boost. Has anyone experienced detonation?

Has anyone experienced any detonation with any of the added boost mods? What is the most boost you can add to stock without possibily experiencing this? I also want to do the mods in the correct order. Without being able to do them all at once, which ones would be the most beneficial to start with?

I have removed the silencer and added flow master delta flow series mufflers so far.

What do you mean by 'added boost mods'? General performance modifications? Detonation threshholds vary from vehicle to vehicle, particularly those running on oxygenated 91 octane fuel. Consider the following modifications in the following order:

1. MAF-filter kit
2. Aftermarket cat-back
3. Aftermarket crossover piping
4. Regapped spark plugs

My car started to ping after I installed my T-body/spacer. I need to get a reburn from JDM. Or maybe I just got a bad tank of petrol. I will know after I get another tank of gas but I am still going to check the air-fuel.
