advice? wide rims & big meats

first off i have 2000 mustang with maximum motorsports full suspension coil overs whole 9 yards,im not looking to alter any of that.with that being said my next mod will be to get my existing 18 inche rims widened by [email protected] . i want 345's or 335's on my car with no rubbing and no relocating shocks ,im guessing 11 inches should be enough for the tires?i dont want any tire bulge i want them to fit right and look clean.if anybody has any advice it would be much apperciated.
also after i get rims back i want to get them rechromed anybody no a good place?

I personally don't see a need to run 345s. You will probably have to use spacers to avoid rubbing, and they will stick out so far it will just look awful.

Just get some 10.5 inch wheels, put 315s on, and call it a day.

I currently have 315s on a 17x10.5 wheels with no spacers. Fits great.

315 is biggest you can go with no BS needed. All the tire you can handle for corner carver setup.

good info! so what do you guys think i should widen the rims to? 10 1/2 or 11?

i had mine widened to 14 so i wouldnt have any bulge, but then again i had to minitub

yes you do, but if youre running coilovers it really doesnt matter.

Not sure how wide you can go without any other modifications but most do a 315 on a 10.5 inch rim.

I run a 305/35/18 m/t drag radial on a 10 inch rim and it fits perfect.

I think 305's are perfect on new edges... anything wider than that looks goofy.

not to try to steal your thread but just double checking, so a 315 on a 17x10.5 rim does fit fine with no problems?

i ran 315's on 10.5's for a long time. In 18" i wouldnt go above 305 but thats just me, on a 10" wheel that fits great
