I don't have them on my car but I have seen many people with the same size setup and have no problems.

Just my 2 cents.
My buddy has a 97 Vert lowered 2" with Saleen 18x10.5 and 295's. 275's on the front.
He couldn't go any wider at all and had to roll the lips inside the fenders

I have a 2 1/4 drop in the front and 2 drop in the back and I'm running 17x9's. front tires are 275/40's and backs are 285/40's - no rubbing whatsoever for me. (I don't know about the 315's)

I have the AFS 10.5 on the rear of my 94 Cobra, not lowered yet, working on it. It looks like it will clear with a mild drop. Here are some pics:

I've got a 97 cobra with afs 10.5's on the rear. You will have to flip the quad shocks if you still have them. Also, roll the inner fender well slightly. It sounds like a PITA but it only takes a few minutes to do. I've also seen some have problems with the tire hitting the exhaust pipe. I have side exhaust, so I don't have that problem. All in all, this job is simple to do, and took about 10 minutes per wheel. (rolling fenderwell, flipping quad shock).

the side wall on 315/35/17 are exactly the same as 245/45/17 (110.25mm). The side wall on 285/40/17 is actually taller (114mm). The second number is a the height of the side wall (which is a percentage of the width) and the first number is the width of the tire in millimeters. Using a calculator you can figure the height of the side wall.
