Aftermarket install charges?

Just curious what others are paying to have headers, gears, pulleys, springs, etc installed...

Mike Raisor Ford gave me a rundown today of what they will charge for everything. It was a total of 1750 for the following:

Kooks LT headers and catted H-pipe - 600
3.73 Gear install - 400
Eibach springs, upper and lower control arms, and panhard bar - 350
Plugs, pulley, intake, throttle body, and install Lund tune - 250
150 in miscellaneous - rear end install kit, new bearing, fluids, give or take a lil here kind of stuff
***Nitrous install - additional 200 is I do it with everything else***

The mechanic is well known in the area. The only thing he shy'd away from was Bob's oil separator. He stated he had not seen them and if the install was easy, I should do it on my own.

So are these prices reasonable? What's everyone else paying?

I'd say they are very reasonable. Has he Ever installed headers on these cars before??? That's cheap.

I'm 800 on headers...but i have guys come back a few weeks later to retighten bolts just in case.

control arms and springs thats really fair
Pretty cheap on the plugs pulley swap too.
I'm way higher on nitrous regardless of what else you would ask me to install. A good nitrous install isn't gonna be $200. I'm pretty anal about wiring and cleanliness though. I've seen some shit installs.

What I want to install is ..
Long Headers .. 3.73 .. Air intake JlT CF 127mm .. FR Oval throttle
Plus cold spark plugs
All paid for 150 KD. = 531.9 $ ....tips 30 KD. ... 10 KD for each guy
One pull in the Dynojet = 10 KD. = 35.46 $

Here is the whole plot oke:

The car stayed over night cooled down
Two guys working on the headers .. it's all what it take
One guy in the back axle
At the SAME time :lol:

And its all about what it charge there :xpl: $$$$.. and here half of it $$$

At the end we all enjoyed the sound of burn out at the 4th gear :burnout:

After talking to him more about it, he is installing it. He mentioned he just wanted to see what all went into the install before agreeing to it.
