my air blows cold sometimes and then at other times it blows hot any idea what it could be?

Mine and also a friends car does it too. He found out that the plastic piece that the ac condensor drains to had melted and the water is not draining. Just need to replace the piece and all will be good.

You could need a new fan too. Mine would blow cold when moving & hot when stopped.
WELL today is the first time it acted up i went for a drive today and it was working then cut it off for awhile and decided to cut it back on and it was blowing hot air then after a few times of cutting it on and off it started blowing cold air again and i went out there after it had cooled off a few hours with it idling it was working good.
