hey guys. my name is stve i am 23yrs old and a member of the nypd. been a cop for 2.5 years. not sure how the rest of your dept's work, but the city has a 20yr retirement pension. pension includes half pay, plus benefits,plus variable supplement ( we dont have cost of living increase so we get a check for 12,000 on top of our pension every jan1 ), and deffered comp ( if you want ). just saw this on my pba website. take a look and tell me what you think.
