Ok So i just put all new rotors and pads (front and rear) on my car, and i know your supposed to break them in, but i heard thats just B.S. and to just make a few hard stops with them and then they will be fine. So i made a few hard stops and then i got on the highway. I was doing about 90 around light turns and got up to about 120 at some ponits.. i tried not to use the brakes so much.. but i had to hit them to slow down a few times. Now the rear brakes are squeeling like crazy now when i use the brakes while going slow to slowy slow down...... i want to know if could of harmed my pads and rotors from doing that so soon??? BTW i greased all of the proper points.

If you are too hard on new rotors right away they may warp a little. If you have new pads and rotors my "break in" would be:

1. Drive normally (no hard braking or getting the pads real hot) for 3 full heat cycles to "season" the new rotors.

2. Bed in the new pads like it says here: Bed-in link
