Alternator woes

Turbo 04 Cobra here. Would you guys recommend TuffStuff, PA Performance, or Powermaster?

What amp, 130, 150, or 200?

I want to get an aftermarket one for the black housing, and the OEM one is on its last leg.

none of the 3 there. Alter4start built me one with 200amp and its lasted 4 years. i also have the metco 3.2 pulley on it.

Get A custom one made by a local trusted shop, using your stock one.

I painted my stock one black. Didnt even take it apart. Thing has been a beast

I'd highly recommend Power Master. They custom built mine for high RPM and also coated it black for me. It's a 200 amp. I've got an ass load of electronics in my car and it has no problem keeping up. I've also spun my motor to 9k RPM and never tore up an alternator.
