I added the LP lower pulley and I was wondering if I REALLY need to change out the altinator pulley? If so, was is the best method of taking this pulley off? I need so help!!!!!!! LP says that the altinator is being over spun, any opinions? :shrug: :shrug:

Yep, you are going to be overspinning the alternator by only a couple percent, not worth worrying about the alt pulley....

IMO, a 4# with an OEM alt pulley is a crap shoot with that (known) weak alt design. Further, there is no great solution on the market. The best alt pulley for a 4# would be something like a 3.0"...assuming Ford put the right pulley combo together in the first place.
Remember when everyone was putting underdrive pulleys on their 5.0's? Theres a performance motivation for doing that.
