I just checked the belt length how to thread. It says w/ my setup that I need a 69.5" belt. I went and looked on the truck and it has a 68.5" belt on it. Is it possible that it's more detrimental to me to be running an inch shorter belt? Basically would it perform better to have a 69.5" on there even though it won't be as tight a fit?

Is the belt length thread wrong?

I have 6lb lower/stock upper/Aux Idler w/two 100mm.

Yep wrong belt. I bet its a pain in but to take off too. Sound like you need a 69.5" belt.

If it's on there then it's fine. Has someone snapped the stop off of the tensioner?
The best thing I could have ever done. Take that damn tensioner stop off. That makes life alot easier.;-)

I've had the same 69" gatorback on mine from when I first pullied up, LOL. Only when using the 8L 3.5" upper did I need to remove the stop on the tensioner. The tensioner does it's job, running a "tighter" belt won't really help. The aux idlers are what makes it work well.
