a lovely little car that is also leaps and bounds more practical than the mustang

Tangerine Scream is the color and it has every option but the heater block which isn't needed because I live in central Texas

Only mod plans are catback, downpipe, FMIC, and tune and those can wait while I get used to the car. The car handles better than any car I've ever owned including the '13 GT that had D-Specs, BMR everything else

I guess it's better then a beetle!:lol1: I followed a black Focus ST3 heading to Charlotte and it not a bad looking little car. It seemed to have a good amount of top end grunt going down the HWY.

Is this a way of punishing yourself?

No, it was the car I wanted and can afford easily and is better than a beetle or a civic.

is it the fastest car out there? Well no obviously but it's quick enough for a DD and handles well. Besides I plan on picking up a 69 Mustang to do a restomod on eventually.

As badass as the new Focus ST's are.....I wouldn't replace a '13 GT with it.

You're gonna kick yourself every time you see a 5.0

Since the car was totaled I didn't have much choice as far as replacement goes just what to replace it with.

I still love the 5.0's and mustangs but I needed something different this time around. It's not like the mustang is going to be discontinued, plus a friend of mine will still let me drive his 07 GT500 anytime I want to.

For the compliments, thank you. For the people that think I made a mistake well it's not your car and you are entitled to your opinion.

I was expecting a 13' GT500 :(

Trust me, if I could have afforded it I would have bought the one sitting in the showroom. It was grabber blue with matte stripes and loaded to the gills, but I don't have 65k or even 40k to spend on a car. I got this well below retail and am working on saving for a house right now this will help(House>Car). Besides I have a LONG time to get a nice car as I'm 25 now but wanted something fun and practical to drive until I get a house and have that paid off.....or hit the powerball(which I don't play)

the color is really growing on me when it comes to those cars. The recaro embroidery just make the car that much more legit. Have fun with it but be a little more careful this time around

nice man, you were put in a shitty situation and its just something that has to be done. I would be in the same situation if I totaled my car. I wouldnt even be able to afford insurance anymore

lol i was expecting to see "And the replacement for my totaled 13 GT" is a 13 GT! But i will accept this replacement!

I love my race red ST3. it is a wonderful daily driver! I was seriously surprised by these...i ordered my ST3 without ever driving even the base focus. I had never even driven a FWD car before my ST...had mustangs since i was 16!

Tangerine scream is a pretty cool color, but couldn't see me in a yellow hatchback. Yellow cobra, maybe. I was torn between white and red...lol i took a chance and got red, love it!

congrats on your ride! and yes this car is a handling beast! After driving my ST for only a month, i got back into the mustang and was like WTF is this heavy dinosoar steering and brakes! The ST brakes are NUTS, lol best i have ever had, not saying much cause i have had 2 04 mustangs.

Props for thinking ahead financially. The GT was nice but this should fill the DD needs and be a little sporty while doing it. I dig the color too.

We love our naturally aspirated Focus SEL. I cannot imagine driving an ST. Can't wait until my wife's car is paid for so I can get and ST for myself.
