Annoying someone via the Internet is now a federal crime.

It's no joke. Last Thursday, President Bush signed into law a prohibition on posting annoying Web messages or sending annoying e-mail messages without disclosing your true identity.

In other words, it's OK to flame someone on a mailing list or in a blog as long as you do it under your real name.

Yup, this was just what the government needs to worry about, annoying e-mail. I mean there aren't more important things to worry about.

If you paid for the web space for people to post messages on, and dont force the people who 'eflame' to disclose there indentity, isnt that up to the person who owns the web space?

How do they keep foreigners under control then?

Trying to make the internet a virtual disney world will never work so why do they keep wasting money on it?

Also is it conservatives or liberals who are about less government? (I know it cant be conservatives)
