i just finished my v6 to v8 swap in my 98. It now has a 98 gt longblock with '00 P.I. heads and intake. The car has the GT Auto tranny. I'm about to install an 8.8 with 3.55's bc this is my relaible daily. The exhaust is stock manifolds, gutted 1st cats and 2nd cats delete, stock '00 GT mufflers. The compression ratio is supposed to be about 10.25-10.5:1 on a P.I. swap. What do you think she'll run with the stock converter?
