I amm running toolman's old kumo victoracer 770's R compound. Yes 3:98 gears same boost as spring when I ran a 12:95 launching at 8psi instead of 5. They make a big difference!
No I did not get my transmission worked out. it is still slipping like a hore on ice on the street but for some reason it was fine at the track. The shifts are horrible and I could probably pick up half a second if it would shift faster or hell at least as good as my FPS transmission did when it was around.
here is the video. in the first run I forgot to check the air pressures in the kumo's and the left one was at 16psi (same as it was in spring) and the RF was last used at a autoX and had like 47psi in it. I did a half track burnout then whent screaming past the neon when it shifted into 3rd. with proper pressures the car launches very good. a 1.8 60' would be snap with more boost at the line.

Not bad at all! Keep in mind, This car has 232 Thousand Miles on the Origonal engine on stock internals.
